Spring Is In The Air And Before You Know It, The Summer Season Will Soon Be Here

January 2, 2012

Oh Yes, the water is returning back to Shaver Lake and excitement is beginning to fill the air as local businesses begin to gear up for what should be one excellent Summer season.  The pictures below were taken recently and really shows where the water level is.

Although we're having a Miracle March and the best powder skiing of the season at China Peak, It's time to start thinking about reserving that perfect property for you and your family during the summer season.  Picture it being 105 degrees in the valley and only 70 degrees in the Shaver Lake & Huntington Lake area.  Whether it's bringing up the ski boat or PWC's, dropping in a line at your favorite fishing hole on Courtright Lake, taking a hike towards Rancheria Falls, learning the local history at the Home Creek Museum on Huntington Lake or the Central Sierra Historical Society Museum at the entrance into Edison Campground or enjoying one of the many High Sierra Regatta sailboat races on historical Huntington Lake.  Shaver Lake & Huntington Lake is the Central High Sierra Playground.  Come on up and visit and begin a family tradtion that your loved ones will remember throughout their lives.
