China Sun Music Series featuring Pablo Cruise & Papa Doo Run Run - This Sunday At China Peak

The second in the China Sun Concert Series will headline Pablo Cruise on September 4th with Papa Doo Run Run and opening the show will be the popular local band - Shockwave. Concert ticket prices will be $25 advance sales and $35 at the gate on the day of the event. Children 6 -12 are $10 on-line or at the gate and children 5 & under are free. Parking is $5. Tickets can also be purchased at participating Save Mart Supermarkets, Cressman's, and Bob's Market in Shaver Lake. On concert day, we are also hosting our First Annual Chili Cook Off and Beer Festival. There is $1,000 in China Peak cash up for grabs for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place chili's. Email don@skichinapeak.com for details on how to enter your chili. The top chili could win naming rights to have their chili served at the Peak this winter! Beer tasting will feature your favorites from Tioga-Sequoia plus all the brews produced by the Sequoia Brewing Company - 15 in all! Tickets for the Chili Cook-Off and Beer Tasting will be available on-site Sunday, September 4th. This concert is presented by the China Peak Ski Patrol. The China Sun Concert Series will be outdoor festival seating. Please bring chairs and/or blankets for seating. No outside food and beverages will be permitted and there will be no in-out privilieges.
