Reviewed by 821/680821 The cabin was buetiful. It was my famillies first time to Shaver & our childrens first time to the snow. The view was buetiful however I did call ahead of time for Judy but she was unavail, I asked if their was snow so I now what to by my kids. I told her what cabin just 4 days before heading out & I was told "Sorry no just patches here & there" We got to the cabin & my kids could not go outside our first day there because they got frozen wet due to it was completly filled with snow. The next day we had to by our kids snow boots bennies & gloves. We spent $350 which i have 8 kids & 3 of them had evrything for snow at home if i would have known we would have been more prepaired even with the easter outfits we bought couldnt be used which was another $150 so I spent a lot of unnessesary money but lessoned learned for next time. As for the cabin it had everything needed I had to call for the hallway bath to be fixed several times & I never got to take a nice relaxing bath that i was looking forward to but at least the showers worked & lastly 2 nights before leaving my kids noticed the window where the jacuzzi is, is a stained glass at night looks like a lot of faces it freaked my kids out. I look forward to going back but the window would actually be the only reason we wouldnt stay back in Pondview only because once my kids noticed it we all did even as adults. Besides spending a lot of crazy money & having a creepy window at night we had a blast :) I look forward to going back in a few mths. I love the journal that we got to write in about our experience & to read other ppls experience was buetiful. Everytime I called the office for something i got a fast response & the ppl in the office are very nice Judy helped me out a lot & its not easy when i'm picky cause I have so many kids so really Thank You For Giving My Family Of 10 This Buetiful Experience :)

Reviewed by trevinoroofing Spent the weekend with friends and family at this cabin and it was beautiful. We have been to Shaver Lake plenty of times before but this was the first time for the other three families that went with us and they loved it. The cabin was beautiful, comfortable and perfect for the kids to explore wilderness and private enough for them to ride their bikes in the neighborhood. The grown ups enjoyed the views from indoors and outdoors and sitting on the porch for coffee in the mornings and drinks in the evening. We had a wonderful time and we all look forward to returning to this cabin. Thank you Shaver Lake Rentals for helping us choose a great location for a big group in such a short time. You always took the time to answer questions and made sure we were comfortable with our choice. We will definitely be calling you again soon.
