Walk downstream to enjoy 3 gorgeous waterfalls within a half mile. Enjoy hiking trails for miles surrounding the property. Backed up to US Forest Service Land when you sit on your back deck and look every direction and you will not see another house or structure. Newly furnished home with a rustic, comfortable feel. Large picture windows overlooking the forest and your steams greet you as you walk through the front door. A large open floor plan allows for the chef in your party to mingle with the rest of the guests without being alienated in a closed off kitchen. Bedroom 1 downstairs has a queen sized bed. Bedroom 2 also located downstairs has 2 (bunk style twin beds). A washer and dryer are available for guests to use as well. Upstairs there are two master bedrooms and a loft between them. Your 3rd bedroom has a King sized bed, the 4th bedroom allows you to nestle into your Queen sized bed and enjoy a 180 degree view of treetops listening to the stream and birds all night. The loft which is a perfect kid getaway has 5 single beds, it's own TV, and game table. You cannot go wrong in this home during the Spring Summer and Fall months.
Winter access is a little tricky, so it is recommended that you have 4 wheel drive vehicles with experienced snow condition drivers.

Comfortable House with 4 Bedroom & 3 Bathroom in Shaver Lake (BTLAND)
Reviewed by 1809/1191809 We really enjoyed staying here. This specific property has some lovely features. There are two masters with very comfortable beds. One master has a wonderful clawfot tub that several of us took advantage of. We loved the two separate family areas so the littles could watch movies upstairs while we played games downstairs. The living area downstairs is incredible and comfortable with picturesque views. It was so delightful to drink my coffee and read while listening to all the creeks nearby. Also, the kitchen is a great size with nice, large appliances. Another plus was the large dining room table. We were able to fit all 11 of us comfortably for family dinner.
A couple things I wish we had known that we will do next time. The knives in this property are horrible. So if you plan on cooking, bring your own. Also, the baking trays were stuck to the mousetrap, so they were useless. Luckily, we had brought our own. Another thing I would bring is box fans. The night air is wonderful but hard to bring into the upstairs rooms. The last thing I wish I had known, which is not a negative, but just something I wish I was aware of is that the stairs have no protective railing on one side. I had several small heart attacks watching my toddlers try it before we caught them.
Overall, we loved our experience here and look forward to returning.

Something for everyone!
Reviewed by 2339/932339 Stayed here last summer. Such a nice welcome summer break from the heat and busy city life. We went with our family, of four, mother-in-law, and 3 teenage exchange students. Plenty of room. Bedroom and bath downstairs very nice for my mom-in-law. Plenty of beds in the "game room" for all the teenagers. Beautiful bedroom with private bath with ceiling to floor windows and a view to die for. Loved the deck, creek, mountains and bbq. Also enjoyed the easy drive into town and the lake for the kids while us adults relaxed on the deck and enjoyed the serenity for the day! Thank you!

relax and unwind
Reviewed by lenthall06 just spent a week at the Btland house, we had a great time! the house was just as presented online. enough room for the 10 of us! the upstairs game room was perfect for the early rising kids - they could get up and watch TV without bugging the parents :) the sound of the two rivers running through the property was beautiful and what i miss now at home! we took a great hike through the 5 acres and found beautiful waterfalls all along the way! it does lack some of the finishing touches: there were quite a few spider webs (minus the spiders) in the windows and an occasional black ant, some of the floors were uneven, no coffee filters and some window coverings to keep the early morning or late afternoon sun out. the secluded location was peaceful and allowed us a very relaxing vacation!

Reviewed by deannadavis29 Well,were should i start...when we arrived in the afternoon everything was great!My sister and i rented the house together with our husbands and children,we had been there the year before and the place was in alot better shape.This time...well,we paid a cleaning deposit and nothing was clean at all!we went to take showers and there was hair in the tub,toothpaste on the walls and dirt in the shower upstairs!bathroom downstairs did not close all the way and if you force the door shut your pretty muched locked in,oh yeah,there was mouse traps on the floor and under the sink!The master bathroom upstairs is gorgeous clawtub,beautiful scenery...when i went to go pee....thank god i looked in the toiet there was a dead RAT floating in the toilet!!!!!!!!!oh my god i ran out of there screaming and shocked!besides the kitchen rug being filthy and this stomache turning odor that is in the kitchen...like something dead,no other complaints!this cabin is beautiful besides all that and the the ceiling to foor windows around the living room the view is breathtaking.I can laugh now and that made our weekend more wacky....if they do a few up grades and some cleaning i would actually go back...great house for kids and ordinary people!

The Dogwood Subdivision had recently conducted a major logging project which has temporarily driven mice into the areas homes. We have contacted an exterminator which has been working diligently to rectify this problem. We have already seen a difference. As for the Cleanliness of the property. We apologize that you discovered issues in the home, but would have immediately taken care of the problems mentioned had you made us aware when you arrived. Great creek, great location, but the home could use a little mor

However, the owner of this home needs to invest a little time and money into this gem of a property. First, there were rats in the home and they may be storing food in the king size bed upstairs, since what looked like dog kibble was falling from the box spring. Also, too many closets are locked and unavailable for guest use. Although I like stoneware, the heavy stoneware plates seem a little prehistoric for daily use, I elected to use paper plates for the most part. The freezer was not freezing well. The pocket door in the lower bathroom is broken and doesn't close all the way and if it does, you may have to worry that you cannot get out, since it may not open. Additionally, having the security cameras and computer/modem on all the time is a little creepy; keeps you wondering who is watching you during your stay.
BUT...on the brighter side, I loved the creek, the quite, the privacy, the location and the size of the unit.
