This home was such fun for our family...we had plenty of room with two little boys (6 and 4). The kitchen was more than well-stocked...we fixed great meals with a minimum of effort. We loved all the personal touches...if you like moose, this is the place for you! The only suggestion I would make is to change the beds upstairs...they were a bit uncomfortable. Twin beds would be good so kids could have their own bed and not have to share. The master bed was wonderful. Thanks for a great time.
First time at Shaver Lake
Reviewed by polygrip Me & my extended family spent Thanksgiving at Shaver Lake. This was my cousin's 6th visit but my husband's and daughter's and my first time. All I can say is I enjoyed the most peaceful vacation in a long while.
The "cabin" was spacious, clean and totally surrounded by tall pines which seemed to go on forever. Our last night it snowed what a delight. Would definately go again.
Christmas vacation in the snow
Reviewed by butons90 We thoroughly enjoyed our family vacation at the Pinecone house in Shaver Lake. The house was well appointed and situated on a great piece of property. Our 3 year old (and the adults too) loved being able to just walk out the back door and play in the snow.
We are already trying to pick dates to reserve our stay next year.
