Large roomy cabin - good value

Cabin was large enough for extended family and then some. Price was better than some with reported same capacity. Trash service is new and very appreciated, as well are free sundries (toilet paper, dishwashing soap, etc). On the downside we had to buy cables to connect the DVD player to the main TV, and the deck is hazardous. I guess last winter was tough on the deck as many boards were warped and loose and many of us tripped over them.

The entire deck in the front of the house is a little scary. Boards are popping up and you are constantly tripping over them. Not something that Iwe expect from a home that charges $275.00 a night.

Great house for a couple of families to share

We really enjoyed our stay at the Anton house. The accommodations were very nice. The layout of the rooms suited our families well. The kids (pre- teen to teen) loved the loft area. The kitchen was easy to share, with several people sharing in the cooking for most meals. The dining table was full-sized and suited the size of the house. There were places to group together for games, and places where someone could get away by themselves. As with every rental house, there were a few quirky bits. As an example, there is a five-burner range (gas -- a big plus for cooking). The burners have an electronic ignition system, and one of the burners would not stop clicking (so we just didn't use that burner). And the fireplace has it's own special requirements to get it to draw, but once discovered, it put out great heat. Overall, there was nothing serious to complain about.
