Reviewed by jason81818185 Becket res, is a beautifull home it just needs a lil TLC on arival we noticed the heating and ac units have been disabled not a big deal however the ceiling fans are broken? ( note on switch out of order) and the windows in the house have all been locked with tamper proof locks? not very conveinent or comfy when its 90' out? the home could use a good cleaning (carpets are filthy) IMO a handy man could get this place tops in a day and as a rental i highly recommend the owner invest a lil time and money in the property. personally i wont stay there again.

Reviewed by arnoldclan2 Our family comes to Shaver Lake every year, it's a tradition. This is our first time renting the Beckett cabin and it was just perfect. The best thing was the outdoor patio and kitchen. We had my whole extended family come for dinner and there was plenty of room outside in a beautiful quiet setting.

Reviewed by debra.scott I recommend the Beckett rental . The home is very clean, roomy and in an easily accessible location. Plenty of parking, terrific walking trails nearby. The **only** down side was the lower patio in the backyard feels like its a part of the neighbors yard (too close). However, I would gladly rent this home again. Loved my stay!!

GREAT OUTDOORS AND SNOW EXPERIENCE
Reviewed by bigpapiazael THE CABIN WAS GREAT, HAD EVERYHING WE NEEDED, VERY SPACIOUS (4 BEDROOMS AND 4 BATHS-REALLY HELPED OUT), HAS A GAME ROOM, GOOD SIZED FAMILY ROOM, KITCHEN AND DINING AREA. CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE ABOUT 4 TIMES FOR INFO AND MINOR ISSUES ON THE CABIN, AND THEY WERE HELPFUL AND POLITE EACH TIME. THE CABIN IS LESS THAN 2 MILES FROM TOWN AND THE OFFICE. IT ONLY TOOK 12 MILES TO GET TO THE BIGGER AND BETTER SNOW PARK (BE CAREFUL ON THE ROADS WHEN IT IS HAILING AND SNOWING, DONT BE IN A RUSH AND WHO CARES IF THEY ARE ON YOUR BUMPER, SLOW IS FAST!) THE ONLY ISSUES WE HAD WAS THAT IN THE MORNING THE HOT WATER WOULD RUN OUT FOR SHOWERS, SO EITHER SHOWER AT NIGHT OR TELL YOUR PARTY 5 MINUTES LIMIT AND THE BEDS MATTRESSES WERE NOT ALL THAT GREAT. ALL IN ALL THE CABIN WAS A VERY PLEASANT STAY, IT FELT AT HOME WITH IT'S COZYNESS AND FELT GOOD TO STAY IN A HUGE CABIN THAT IS UP TO DATE WITH IT'S AMENITIES.

Reviewed by katie.dubbels The home was lovely and spacious in general common areas. Loved the basement with pool table, enjoyed the real fireplace. Good snow play area in the back for the kids. All the beds need to be replaced - all couples commented on how poor the matresses were and uncomfortable. This feedback was given to the Shaver Lake Vacation Rental representative when we turned in the keys...hopefully they passed this information on. We felt overall - if it weren't for the beds this was a great vacation place. Be sure to ask for the AAA discount - it doesn't seem to show up online and is a 5% discount

Reviewed by mkdimples Beckett House was very warm and inviting and VERY clean when we walked in. The home was spacious, over 3000 square feet or more. We loved the home and the fact that each couple had their own bedroom. The house was on a huge corner lot and had plenty of parking spaces in front of the home and a huge parking garage located in the back of the home. We really loved the fact that the house had its own separate game and exercise room downstairs including a bathroom! This was a totally separate quarter in the house. The thing that I liked least about the house and what I felt was a bit deceiving was the fact that the two upstairs bedrooms had to share a bathroom. I was under the impression that at least three of the bedrooms had their own bathroom inside…not a huge deal but a small one. I would for sure recommend this beautiful home!
