Comfortable House in Shaver Lake (Filipponi Cabin)
Reviewed by calledesoto Lovely & comfortable home. Beds are comfortable, which is much appreciated. Many rental homes we've tried in the past had very uncomfortable beds. Good forest setting. The driveway was on an incline, icey and dangerous, my son fell. Nice appliances in the kitchen but also a bad odor from previous cooking, (it smelled like old fish!). The cleaning service must have missed something. Once I washed the pots and pans and burned a candle it seemed to be better. Make sure you bring kitchen soap and bath soap! None was provided.

Lake was great and so was Dinky Creek. Have been to Shaver Lake as a young family and now coming with our adult children, grandchildren, and our pets was just wonderful. Thank you!
