PET FRIENDLY.. INTERNET. This comfortably furnished, very roomy West Village cabin is within walking distance of the Village. It has a large kitchen and a nice rustic bench swing on the deck, and is located near the end of the road with lots of trees
around it. This is one of our more popular cabins. DVD player. 27" TV in living room; 13" TV in bedroom #2; 27" TV in bedroom #3.

It was beautiful, very clean but a little costly, we'll be back.

Great Cabin and good location
Reviewed by shirtmen What a neat mountain cabin. Plenty of room for everyone; fireplace and large eating table. Nice deck and places to hike. Plenty of parking for 3 cars. Issues we loved were scratched fry pans, one burner on the stove did not work, laundry is in the kitchen - but this makes a great mountain stay. The Hilton it is not; a great cabin it is. Thanks owners

Reviewed by ljclark5 We loved this cabin. We had 5 people in our family, three of which are teens. We love how we can walk to the town very easily. We always try and stay in either the West or East Villages. This was our 5th stay at Shaver. The cabin was great for our size family. It had a large kitchen table, very well stocked kitchen (utensils, serveware etc), plenty of seating for the living room and a really nice deck. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was it was a little dark inside (very "cabin like"..dark paneling). I would highly recommend Palm2. We will rent it again for sure!
Could have been better.........snow & cold water
Reviewed by rafaella.martinez My family of 8 stayed the weekend at a cabin that
had hot water problems. We weren't able to take
showers the first night, and for an unknown reason
the water faucet outside had been running all
night. The following day we were late to our event
waiting for hot water...NO LUCK! I had to boil
water to make a bath for my lil ones. When we
returned that night the cabin was cold because the
thermostat batteries died so the heater turned off.
Needless to say we had a good time at the pow wow
and didn't enjoy our stay at the cabin. The office
did not show much remorse over our situation either
:(
Clean and comfortable with a couple of issues
Reviewed by akamp We had a good stay at this cabin. We had only 2 major complaints. One is that the cookware is dismally cheap especially the scratched up frying pans with broken handles. The second complaint is that the water in the upstairs bath barely gets warm- the faucet may need adjusting. Otherwise the cabin was clean and comfortable and met our needs.
Mountain Retreat
Reviewed by lbarkley First of all SLVR staff were great to work with.
The cabin is a nice size and had all the basics of home and well stocked with bedding and kitchen items. The parking was excellent. The cabin was fairly close to the main road, walking distance, but not so close you could hear traffic. The setting was beautiful and very importantly, pet friendly.
There were a few minor issues such as burned out light bulbs in the fixtures, mouse droppings in the kitchen, electrical circuits that need attention but these are all easily fixed.
I think we would rent it again.
