Reviewed by kinziedenice We had a great time. The cabin was beautiful and in a good location with close proximity to town. The only problem was with cleanliness. Overall it was very clean but, we do have a 1 year old crawler and he kept finding old food on the ground. He even found a piece of broken glass. We did enjoy oru visit and would go back.

Reviewed by mellohay We loved it all, for me having bad knees the driveway was a little steep, other than that beautiful. the two upstair bedroom fans were on the same frequency so we could not individually run them I needed high my son and his wife had their twin baby boys in their room needed low so we had low. The office brought us floor fans made it great. Thank you for the parking for our boat also you are all great.
Great vacation getaway from the city!
Reviewed by britneh We traveled to Shaver Lake from Downtown Los angeles to get away from the city and it could not have been any better and we could not have been any happier! It is very close to the lake and right off of the road so there was no hassle at all. The cabin is a perfect size with a great fireplace to keep you cozy. This is a very clean, fresh and quiet place and also close to everything.
The beds were very comfortable and the rooms had lots of space. There is a TV in every room and the TV in the living room was nice and there were a lot of channels to watch so if you did not want to be outside enjoying the fresh air, you could sit inside and still have something to do. The kitchen is very roomy and there are tons of utensils and pots and pans to cook with which is nice (and a dishwasher!).Outside there is a BBQ to use, as well as a fire pit area which was fun at night when it was a little chilly but you wanted to still be outside taking in the fresh air. They have it fixed up in the back so you are not just walking on dirt and pine needles but cements and rocks but yet it still looks like the mountains. Very nice touch. We will definitely be back again soon and highly recommend it!

Reviewed by peridotbec We recently stayed at Whispering Woods home. What a beautiful and warm home it was. It was extremely quiet, clean, fresh, and no one woke up with allergies! We arrived on a Friday afternoon for a weekend of skiing. The home is right off the main road, easy to get to. Heating worked great,beds were comfortable. There were plenty of kitchen utensils for cooking. The only thing I would recommend for future visits would be to have instructions on how to use the fireplace efficiently. Also we weren't able to get the speaker system to work when we wanted to listen to music. Nice flat screen t.v. worked great and had plenty of channels. Make sure you pack salt/pepper and anything you use for cooking. Kitchen has none of this due to health laws I guesss.
We will definately be back again and again.
