Vacasa Acquires Shaver Lake Vacation Rentals

Shaver Lake, California – Vacasa, a leading U.S. vacation rental management company, announced it has acquired Shaver Lake Vacation Rentals, a well-known vacation rental company in Central California. This acquisition will drive more bookings for Shaver Lake Vacation Rentals’ homeowners and help increase Vacasa’s offerings in the California market.

For more than 20 years, Shaver Lake Vacation Rentals has been providing Shaver Lake homeowners and vacationers with premium customer service. Through this acquisition, Vacasa has acquired all 84 vacation rentals from Shaver Lake Vacation Rentals and will take over all aspects of property management from marketing and reservations to guest services, housekeeping and maintenance.

Vacasa currently manages more than 7,000 homes in 18 U.S. states and 15 countries.

    In years past, we could make a reservation, leave a deposit, and make final payment 30 days before arrival. In the check out process, it appears I need to pay the entire amount up front. Is this true? What happened to the deposit ability?

      SLVR’s policy for many years was that reservations had to be paid in full 60 days in advance of arrival. So if you are arriving 59 or fewer days from the reservation date, you would have to pay the balance in full at the time of reservation. Once Vacasa purchased SLVR, their policies became the rule, which I thought were very similar to SLVR’s. Their reservation number is 855-448-1906 if you would like to discuss this with them. Sorry for the confusion!
